Custom Radiator

After investigating a Sherco radiator I decided to bite the bullet and get a custom radiator. The reason was that the Sherco radiator had pipes in the wrong locations and I was concerned about it's performance at high speed (I was told they race with the choke out on the long straight bits).

Some thoughts for improvements and lessons learned

• • Next time put radiator cap on opposite side to shock

  • Make sure you take into account the steering travel (to avoid the shock hitting things like the raditor cap)

  • Make sure you take into account the suspension travel when positioning

  • Version 2 mounting use 100mm aluminium channel (instead of 65mm) because the radiator sits lower and the depth allows further travel in brake pedal
